Avenue Calgary Feature on Rhonda DeJong

The tenacious store owner is also an amateur adventurer. DeJong will try anything, which is how she ended up river-kayaking in British Columbia, snowshoeing in the Rockies and sleeping in a rat-infested bed in Ghana. That last adventure led her and four other Calgarians to create the registered charity All For Humanity (AFH) in 2008. (read more...)

 

DELADEM UPDATE 2010:

 

Francis was one of the children we had initially transported from The Deladem Orphanage to the Ho Regional Hospital, in February 2009. The children spent a week under the care of a caring physician named Dr. Obeng. Francis was by far the most ill child we had encountered. (read more...)
